Symptom
A particular user has been removed from all the operator roles in the Job Requisition (including associated Recruiting Groups and teams) but he still access to that Job Requisition. He is still seeing the Job Requisition in his list of Job Requisitions, but he may or may not be able to edit the same.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Remove the user from a Operator Role reassigning the permissions to another user
- User A still has access to view / edit that Job Requisition in spite of not being assigned any role in the requisition
Cause
This is an expected system behavior.
If the user, who was removed from the operator role of the Job Requisition, was at one time a part of the approval path (route map) for the Job Requisition, then after removal he will be treated as an additional approver for this Job Requisition. He will be able to see the Job Requisition in his list of Job Requisitions; but his view / edit access to this Job Requisition will depend upon the permissions given to the role V in the Job Requisition template.
Resolution
You can restrict the permissions of this user to the reassigned Job Requisition by modifying the read / write permissions granted to the role [V] in the Job Requisition template.
Please note that the Job Requisition will still be visible in the Job Requisition list as the Operator accessed the Job Requisition in the past, but the Job Requisition fields will not be visible to the user anymore.
Unfortunately from a Recruiting perspective this is the only possible workaround and the user will always see the Job Requisition listed.
