2502294 - REJECTION_CODE 106, Foreign key violation error when loading values to a compound master data in IBP

Symptom

Data Integration job fails during post-processing in IBP with foreign key violation error.

An Example:

Compound master data UOMCONVERSION is configured in IBP, which include component master data type PRODUCT & UOMTO.

Attribute PRDID & UOMTOID are root attribute in UOMCONVERSION.

Attribute UOMCONVFACTOR is a non-root attribute in UOMCONVERSION.

When loading UOMCONVFACTOR to compound master data through Data Integration in IBP, the job fails with rejection message such as shown below.

REJECTION_CODE	REJECTION_CODE_NAME	REJECTION_DESCRIPTION	PRDID	UOMTOID	UOMCONVFACTOR
106	"Foreign key violation"	"Check that the matching value exists in object UOMTO"	P1	KG	1
