SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
- After installing Crystal Reports 2011 SP12 Designer on Windows 7 Desktop when launched, nothing happens.
- Other tools such as Report upload Wizard work fine.
- Trace is not generated.
- Process monitor doesn't show CRW32.exe

Reproducing the Issue
- Install Crystal Reports 2011 SP12 on a Windows 7 desktop machine following the installation suggestions from 1638102
- Try to start Crystal with the Shortcut
- Nothing happens
Resolution
- After updating to Crystal Reports 2016 it started correctly (using the same installation workflow)
