Symptom
Forecasts are released from SCM APO system to ECC via DP background job.
At SCM APO side, the key figure that holds the forecast data has "Zero Allowed" flag activated (in t-code /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN).
For example, before forecast release, data in APO and ECC is as below.
Period 1 | Period 2 | Period 3
Existing Forecasts at ECC | 10 | 20 | 30 |
Forecast to be released in APO | 0 | 50 | INITIAL |
It is expected that:
- When source forecast is zero, it will overwrite the existing forecast at ECC side.
- When source forecast is INITIAL, exsiting forecast at ECC side is not changed.
Expected result for the above sample:
Period 1 | Period 2 | Period 3
Forecasts at ECC side after release | 0 | 50 | 30 |
Modification notes 446688 and 812133 are tried in ECC system, however:
- Without the notes in ECC system, 1 can be realized but 2 cannot be realized.
Period 1 Period 2 Period 3 Forecasts at ECC side after release 0 50 0 - With the notes in ECC system, 2 can be realized but 1 cannot be realized.
Period 1 Period 2 Period 3 Forecasts at ECC side after release 10 50 30
