2503070 - The External Delivery ID is Missing. Enter an External Delivery ID

You are trying to create and save a 3PL Inbound Deivery document. While trying to save the document you get the below error message

The External Delivery ID is Missing. Enter an External Delivery ID

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the 3PL Inbound: Inbound Delivery Notifications view
3. Select the relevant delivery notification document and choose the button New Inbound Delivery.
4. You Choose the Save button.

The above error message is displayed.

You have not entered the External Delivery ID, which is mandatory while creating the 3PL inbound delivery id.

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the 3PL Inbound: Inbound Delivery Notifications view
3. Select the relevant delivery notification document and choose the button New Inbound Delivery.
4. In the field External Delivery ID enter the document id with the prefix which you have configured in the abusiness configuration activity, Document Numbering Formats for Inbound Delivery.
5. You should also enter value in the field External Delivery Item ID available in the Items tab of the New Inbound Delivery document screen.

The system is working as designed.
