• Error "HTTP request failed" occurs when attempting to approve a workflow for hiring of an internal recruit from Onboarding:

• If no workflow is associated, an application error appears:

• SAP Successfactors Employee Central

1. Go to Manage Pending Hires
2. Select the Onboarding queue
3. Select an employee for Internal Hire
4. Process the employee through the hire wizard and submit
5. Access the approval workflow
6. Approve the workflow

The user approving the workflow or processing the hire does not have sufficient permission to the employee's information.

• Ensure the employee approving the workflow has correct RBP permissions to Edit the following portlets of the employee being hired into a new job.
• If there is no workflow associated with the internal hire, then the employee processing the hire from the Onboarding queue should have the permission to Edit the following.

1. Personal Information
2. Job Information
3. Job Relationships
4. Employment Details

• Permissions can be maintained in Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles.
• If the employee has been granted sufficient permission and the problem still occurs, check that the target granting of the RBP role includes the employee that is being transferred.
