2503988 - Function group &&&&&&& already exists / Function group &&&&&& does not exist

Symptom

Due to some requirement, it is necessary to create a Function Group in SE37 transaction, but when going through the transaction SE37 > Goto > Function Groups > Create Function Group the following message is raised:

Function group &&&&&& already exists

However when trying to display the function group from SE37 > Goto > Function Groups > Display Function Group the opposite message is shown:

Function group &&&&&& does not exist
