2504612 - Mashup not Rendering in UI

Symptom

A URL or HTML mashup has been created. During the loading screen, mashup rendering or authentication for the URL mashup will not function.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
  2. Select the Mashup Authoring view.
  3. Select the mashup and click Edit.
  4. When clicking on Preview, URL is not rendered or authentication is not working.

Cause

Problem could be with adapted URL. For a mashup to render correctly in C4C or ByD the URL must work as expected in an iframe.

Resolution

You can use the web page https://iframetester.com/ to test a URL in Iframe. In the URL field enter the entire mashup URL then click on update Iframe.

*Note: If URL is not supported in Iframe, contact URL provider to support their application within iframe.
