2504730 - Position updates not being respected with workflows

Workflow does not respect Position Update

We have configured the Position Creation Workflow  with various levels of approval and have set the "Respect Workflow at Copy Position in Position Organisational Chart" property to "Yes" in UI Customizing in Position Management Settings.

However, when as a manager try to edit a position via the position org chart as a manager and submit the change for approval, even if the first level approver declines the workflow request, the position changes made by the manager gets recorded.

Now,since the workflow request has been declined at level 1 approval itself, the changes on the position should not get committed, which however do get committed. 

Need to set the below configuration

Admin tools -> Configure Object Definitions -> Select Position -> Set "Pending data flag" to "No".
