Is it possible to remove the first approver in using the “Remove Approver” button?

Successfactors Employee Central Workflows

This is an Expected behavior that first approver will not be removed using the "Remove Approver" button in Manage Workflow Request Page.

Remove approver button will not work for the current approver of the workflow transaction.

Example:

If you have 3 approvers and the first approver already approved the workflow you will not be able to remove the 2nd Approver using the "Remove Approver" button.
