2504757 - HANA Fails to Connect Spark Controller with Kerberos

Symptom

  • Hadoop Cluster has Kerberos authentication enabled

  • You want to create SDA remote source from HANA to the Hadoop Cluster using the supported version of Spark Controller

  • You have configured Kerberos settings on Spark Controller side following Spark Controller installation guide

  • SDA remote source is created but shows error "SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects"

  • HANA indexserver trace shows error: "Authentication   Provider.cpp(00799) : Could not create user credential:Kerberos error"

  • Spark Controller log shows no error
