2504798 - Pay Group is Missing from Configure Object Definitions - EC

Symptom

  • Pay Group is not showing up anywhere in the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central instance.
  • The object "Pay Group" is not visible in "Configure Object Definitions".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance and notice the Pay Group object is missing from Configure Object Definitions.
  2. Note the issue began even before uploading the Data Models (Succession and Corporate).

Cause

The object definition for Pay Group has an Inactive status.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Configure Object Definitions.
  2. Click on Advanced > set Including Inactives to "Yes".

  1. Search for Pay Group and identify the status of object is set as Inactive.
  2. Update it to "Active" and give it the necessary permissions.
  3. It will now show up in the instance.
