2504911 - Backup location for backup catalog is not expected.

Symptom

  • You installed or upgraded the system to SAP HANA 2.0 SP00 or higher.
  • You find the log backups are saved in different locations.
    • log backups with source type "catalog" are always using the default location like:  
      /usr/sap/<SID>/HDBXX/backup/log/<Database_name>
    • log backups with source type "volume" are using a different location configured with parameter "basepath_logbackup ". For example:  
      /hana/backup/<SID>/log/<Database_name>.

 Open the Backup console of HANA Studio, you could find the following:
