2504933 - Downloaded Error File in Data workbench Shows Lesser Records than Mentioned in Error Link

Symptom

You download an error file from the Monitor view by clicking the error link, however the records inside the error file is lesser than the mentioned number in the error link.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Data Workbench work center
  2. Select the Monitor view
  3. Select All Tasks
  4. Search for the particular task (which gives error) and download the error file

The records inside the error file is lesser than the mentioned number in the error link.

Cause

This occures when you have added the emplty lines in the template. To check the same open the imported file in text editor you can see that there are blank entries added at the end of imported file.

Resolution

In order to avoid this issue, these blank records should be removed from the file before the Import.
