2505097 - Field Product Tax Category for U.S is not Available in the Migration of Services or Migration of Materials Template

You want to update the Product Tax Category for U.S. for Services using the migration tool in Business Configuration. But the field Product Tax Category for U.S. is not available in the migration template.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open the activity Migration of Services or Migration of Materials.
4. Select the link Migrate Services using the Migration Tool respectivly Migrate Materials using the Migration Tool.
5. Select You Can Also at the top right corner of the screen and click on Download Migration Template.
6. The field Product Tax Category for U.S. is not available in the migration file.

Update of Product Tax Category for U.S. is not supported using Migration.

You may perform the Mass Change of Product Tax Category for U.S. using the below steps:

1. Go to Product Portfolio work center.
2. Go to Products view.
3. Select the By Services or By Materials subview.
4. Select the relevant Services or Materials.
5. Select Mass Change.
6. Show General.
7. Select Start Personalization Mode at the top right corner of the screen.
8. Show Children of the relevant table.
9. Mark the field Product Tax Category for U.S. as Visible.
10. Select Save and Stop Personalization Mode.
11. Fill the required information.
12. Apply Mass Change for Selected Items or for All Items.
13. Select Save and Close.
