We had an issue with our SAP Mobile Platform system where the SQL database services went down for a short time and even after they came back online, the SMP service didn't re-establish the connectivity to the database and went down
Normally, they should be able to respond for the connectivity disruptions but it didn't happen in our case
Thus we would like to understand this behavior why SMP was not able to handle this situation and got frozen on first disconnect to the DB
