2505486 - How to restore HA system after database becomes not compatible

Symptom

  • Mirror becomes not compatible with the primary, and system needs to be put back to High availability mode
  • Console log on one of the servers shows following messages:
    E. xx/xx xx:xx:xx. Database "test" mirroring:  database is not compatible with primary; files must be replaced
    E. xx/xx xx:xx:xx. Transaction log does not match log on mirror partner
