2505576 - Signal 11 in tabvar_release when attempting to drop Table User Defined Function - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • Attempting to drop a Table User Defined Function (TUDF) fails with signal 11 in module tabvar_release
  • It may be accompanied by error 3702 "Cannot drop or replace the <object name> because it is currently in use".
  • ASE error log entries include:

    Current process (0xd10069) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x00000000008f7665 (tabvar_release+0x81), ....
  • Modules seen on the ASE stack trace include:

    tabvar_release
    tmp_alldrop
    s_free
    s_pop
    LeSqlFunctionInfo::PopSqlfCtx
