Symptom

When activating a data source or any other action in HANA studio(BW modeler), the following dump was encountered:

Category               Installation error
Runtime Errors         DBSQL_SQL_ERROR
Except.                CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
Date and Time          2017-07-18 09:57:16
Short Text
     SQL error "SQL code: 10" occurred while accessing table "DDFTX".
What happened?
     Database error text: "SQL message: authentication failed:
      ERR_AUTHENTICATION_FAILED"

Also a situation when you try to connect HANA database from Ananlysis for Office (Excel), you get following error message:
