2505706 - Different Locking issues on Process Chain

Locking Scenario 1: Job completes with "Undefined status"

• Data load failure
• While checking the job log for the process chain, the job  gets completed with the error messages
  Process Data Transfer Process, variant "xyz" has status Undefined (instance)
  Process Data Transfer Process, variant "xyz " has status Ended with errors (instance DUMMY_NO_REQ_CREATED)

Locking Scenario 2: Job gets cancelled after system exception "ERROR_MESSAGE"

• Cancelled Jobs in the system.
• Step 001 started (program RSPROCESS, variant "xyz" , user ID "abc")
• The job cancels with the exception message.           

Sometimes, clicking 'Show DTP Details' will generate a dump as below:
