2505950 - Error when trying to upload a file into KM

You are using When Knowledge Management (KM) 7.3 and upwards, and you try to upload a file into a CM (Content Management) repository, you get the following error:

System Error

An exception occurred during the program execution. 

Exception Message:  java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sapportals.wcm.repository.util.file.IFile.getName() of a null object loaded from local variable 'tmpFile'

In the Default Trace file you can also find the errors as follows:

• while trying to invoke the method com.sapportals.wcm.repository.IProperty.getValueAsString() of a null object loaded from local variable 'property' java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sapportals.wcm.repository.IProperty.getValueAsString() of a null object loaded from local variable 'property'
