2505953 - Time Sheet's Column's Sequence Using Drag and Drop

Your requirement is to reorder the sequence of columns on the Time sheet. After performing reorder by drag and drop, the sequence of columns is not reordered.

1. Go to Home work center
2. Go to Self-Services view
3. Select Self-Services Overview
4. Under the section Time, select Edit Time Sheet
5. In the Time Entries section, select the View Worklist from the drop-down menu
6. Move any of the columns Task, Activity, Monday, Tuesday and so on between one another by drag and drop
7. Select Save and Close
8. Select Edit Time Sheet
9. The positions of the columns are not as the same as it was saved

The drag and drop of columns to maintain the order is not working completely. This is because there are hidden columns in list.

For example, on the Time Sheet, if you drop the column Wednesday next to the column Activity, then you will see the column Wednesday in between columns Task and Activity, since one position taken by hidden column.

There are 2 options to rearrange the columns:

1. Drag and drop
2. Explicit Personalization

Reorder of columns using Explicit Personalization is more preferred way since you can see hidden columns as in side panel and maintain order accordingly.

1. Go to Home work center
2. Go to Self-Services view
3. Select Self-Services Overview
4. Under the section Time, select Edit Time Sheet
5. In the Time Entries section, select the View Worklist from the drop-down menu
6. Select Start Personalization Mode at the top right corner of the screen
7. You are now entering the Personalization Mode
8. Select OK
9. Choose and expand the UI element from the list
10. Example: Time entries from DD1.MM1.YYYY1 to DD2.MM2.YYYY2
11. Change the order of the columns Task, Activity, Monday, Tuesday and so on the Time sheet
12. Select Save in the Personalization panel
13. Select Stop Personalization Mode at the top right corner of the screen
14. Choose Save and Close
15. Select Edit Time Sheet
16. In the Time Entries section, select the View Worklist from the drop-down menu
17. The positions of the columns are reordered as Saved
