2505978 - Data collector is unable to connect to the DSArea Database after user credentials have been changed

Symptom

“Image/Data is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems.  Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.”

  • Core VU in IA is displaying warning and failures related to the Data Collector module
  • The following error is detected in the Data Collector logs
    • ERR> Failed to connect to database destination [DOMAIN\SERVERNAME- COMPANY_DSArea] using [Driver=SQL Server;Server=DOMAIN\SERVERNAME;Database=COMPANY_DSArea;Trusted_Connection=yes;UID=;PWD=]
    • ERR> Database = [], SQLState = [37000], errorCode = [4060] : [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open database "COMPANY_DSArea" requested by the login. The login failed.
