2506111 - Assign the Logged on User as the Account Owner When Creating an Account

When creating a new Account, you want the logged on User to be assigned as Owner of Account.

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Customers work center
2. Go to Accounts view
3. Select New
4. Owner field is blank

By default, the Owner field is blank while creating Accounts. You may choose the Account Owner from the value help available in the Owner field.

While creating the Account, to make the logged on user as the default Owner of the Account, you may follow the below steps:

1. Go to Administrator work center
2. Go to Workflow Rules view
3. Select New
4. In the first step, enter Basic Data
5. Description: XYZ (where XYZ represents the description for the Workflow Rules)
6. Choose Business Object: Account
7. Choose Timing: On Create Only
8. Select Next to Define Conditions
9. Add Group of conditions as per your need
10. Choose Next to Define Actions
11. Choose Rule Type: Action
12. Choose Action: Assign me as Owner
13. Select Next to Review
14. Select Activate
15. Select Finish
16. Logout from the system, and login again so that the changes take place.
