Symptom

Warning message appeared Product KLM not active for use in inventory while checking the consistency of a Production Model.*KLM refers to Product Id,XYZ refers to Planning Area id

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data Work Center.
  2. Navigate to Production Models View.
  3. Search for KLM.
  4. Select Go.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Select Check Consistency.

Warning message appears

Product KLM not active for use in inventory.

Cause

The Production Model KLM is assigned to the Planning Area ID XYZ. However  there is no master data setup in the referenced products for the planning area XYZ.

Resolution

In order to solve the issue, maintain the missing product master data.
