2507908 - Which holidays are excluded from I9 3 Business Day Process - Onboarding

Symptom

  • In the I9 3 Business day process for out of compliance and the system is counting Business days and excluding certain US Holidays.
  • Need to know what is the list of excluding Holidays for the I9 3 Business day process.

Reproducing the Issue

  • During the orientation step and the 3 day window has past the system counts starts counting business days excluding Holidays.

Cause

  • Expected Behavior

Resolution

  1. When processing the I9 and you are out of compliance  due to passing the 3 business days, the system is hard coded to count Business days and excludes US Holidays. Below is the list of US Holidays that are hard coded to be excluded for this process.

Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Washington's Birthday

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Columbus Day

Veterans Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day
