2508015 - Employee Replication Request Error "Assignment not Valid; Target Object Only Valid from DD.MM.YYYY to DD.MM.YYYY"

You try to replicate an employee, but the Employee Replication Request failed with error message "Assignment not valid; target object only valid from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY."

1. Go to the Master Data Replication work center.
2. Access the Import > Employees view.
3. Show Failed/Not Started.
4. Search for the respective Remote Employee ID you are trying to replicate.

You will find the failed replication request and under the Log Items for Selected Employee section the error message "Assignment not valid; target object only valid from DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY' is displayed.

In the concerned Employee Replication Request, you have entered an organizational assignment which is not valid: its validity period does not match the validity period of the respective Remote Org Unit ID (either a Cost Center or a Reporting Line Unit).

For example: you have entered an Organizational Assignment validity period from 01.05.2020 to 31.07.2020 to Remote Org Unit ID ABC (ABC represents the Remote Org Unit ID), but org unit ABC is only valid starting from 01.04.2021.

You can check the Remote Org Unit's validity period as follows:

1. Go to Master Data Replication work center.
2. Depending on the org unit type:
• If it's a cost center, access the Import > Cost Centers view.
• If it's a reporting line unit, use the Import > Reporting Line Units view.
3. Show Successful.
4. Search for the relevant remote org unit ID.
5. Select the latest replication request and check the Start Date and End Date data.

In the concerned Employee Replication Request, maintain an Organizational Assignment with a validity period which corresponds with the respective Remote Org Unit's validity period.
