Environment

Here are the different types of DirectConnect servers that make use of the NetBufSize configuration property

  • MainframeConnect DirectConnect z/OS DB2 Option Transaction Router Service (DCMFC-TRS)
  • MainframeConnect DirectConnect z/OS DB2 Option DB2 Access Service (DC-MFC DB2AS)
  • EnterpriseConnect Data Access ODBC Option (ECDODBC)

Here are the OS platforms each DirectConnect gateway server can run on

  • Windows 32 (runs on Winx64)
  • Linux 32 (Linux x86_64)
  • IBM AIX 32-bit
  • Solaris 32-bit
  • HP Itanium 64-bit

       Note: All platforms but HP Itanium are 32-bit binaries, running on 64-bit Operating Systems
