2508100 - Users can only add comments but not able to rate or modify other fields in the form - Performance Management

Users have granted write permissions in the form for the item rating/subject rating and custom fields however they are unable to rate on the Goals and Competencies sections as well as modify custom fields in custom sections of the form.

Users are only allowed to enter comments in the PM form.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Go to Admin center > Manage Route Maps. Select the route map associated with the template.

There are two 'Step Mode' options in the route map, - the 'Full Edit' and the 'Comment Only' step mode.

If the 'Comment Only' step mode was selected, the user will not be able to make any kind of changes in the form except for entering comments when the form is currently on that specific step.

The 'Full Edit' step mode will let the users make any kind of changes to the form like updating the goals, add coments, provide ratings etc.

To resolve the issue, change the step mode from 'Comment Only' to Full Edit'.

You need to launch a new form for the changes to take effect.
