2508190 - 360 Document Evaluation Notification for External Participants language

• The "360 Document Evaluation notification for External Participants" email template has translations in a number of different languages, however when inviting new External Participants to join the 360 Review process, the email notification that is sent;
• Does not match the sender's locale
• Is in a different language than expected

SAP SuccessFactors 360 Multi-Rater

1. Enable the "360 Document Evaluation Notification for External Participants";
2. Add an External Participant from the Modify Participants option on the 360 Review;
3. The External Participant will receive the "360 Document Evaluation Notification for External Participants".

• When you add the External Rater from the Modify Participants option on the 360 form, the system creates an external user account for the external rater. The external user's default locale will match the default language of the system by default.
• Unfortunately, the system is unable to identify the locale of external users that have not yet been added to the system.

It is possible to amend a previously added External Participant's default locale so future e-mail notifications will be sent using their locale/language. If they are added as an External Participant to a 360 Review process in the future, they will receive the "360 Evaluation notification for External Participants" in their locale.

To change the external user's locale:

1. Go to Employee Export
2. Select "Export External 360 Raters
3. Amend the locale of the External Participant
4. Go to Import Employee Data
5. Import the amended External 360 Raters file

Result: E-Mail notifications and reminders will now be sent using the external user's correct locale.
