Symptom
- After switching the instance language to Chinese, columns are not sorted alphabetically while designing reports.
- Why are columns not sorted alphabetically in Live Data domains in ORD when a Chinese locale is selected?

- Online Report Designer
- Report Centre: Report - Canvas
Reproducing the Issue
A. Set the logged in user's locale to English-US or English-UK
- Create an ORD / Canvas Report
- Add a List Report Component
- Choose Detailed Report > Live Data data as the data source
- Expand Any subdomain schema and a Table. For example: Employee Profile > Employee Information
- The fields are sorted alphabetically
B. Change the logged in user's locale to a Chinese one:
Repeat Steps 1-4 mentioned in Section A.
The Fields are not sorted alphabetically
Resolution
This is an expected behavior.
If you feel this behaviour must be changed, we request you to submit an enhancement request for the same.
