2508416 - Time Report with 0.00 Hours Recorded Time and Start and End Time 00:00.00

You open a customized report in Time Administration work center. In this report you find a daily Time Recording with 0.00 hours duration and Start Time and End Time 00:00.00 for an employee. But actually no times with this duration have been recorded, and in the Time Sheet of this employee no related time recordings exist.

1. Go to Time Administration work center.
2. Go to List view.
3. Select the respective Report.
4. Filter for the respective Employee.
5. Move Start Time, End Time and Date to Rows.
6. Choose Go.

You find entries with a Recorded Time of 0.00 hours and Start Time and End Time 00:00.00.

The related Data Source HCMTLMU01 pulles Planned Time and Actual Time data. In this instance, only the actual time, but not the planned time contains information in relation to Start Time and End Time. Now, when a duration based and not start and end time based Time Model is assigned to an employee, the report creates an entry with Start Time and End Time at 00:00:00. Since no time passes between both points in time, the Recorded Time columns displays 0.00 hours. This happens in addition to any recorded Actual Times.

This is the expected system behaviour. To see more meaningful information regarding the Recorded Times move Time Types to Rows:

1. Go to Time Administration work center.
2. Go to List view.
3. Select the respective Report.
4. Filter for the respective Employee.
5. In additon to Start Time, End Time and Date move also Time Type to Rows.
6. Choose Go.
