2508531 - Cannot Add a File to Already Posted Bank Statements


You are trying to upload a file to an already posted or cancelled bank statement.
You are able to upload the file in the Attach Documents step, but there is no Save button to save the changes. When you close the bank statement and reopen it, you cannot find the attachment that you had uploaded earlier.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Liquidity Management work center.
  2. Go to the Bank statements view.
  3. Search and select Bank statement ABC (ABC is the ID of the bank statement).
  4. Navigate to the Attachments tab.
  5. Click on Add button to upload the File, the file seems to be attached.
  6. Now close the Bank Statement.
  7. Reopen the Bank Statement ABC.
  8. Navigate to the Attachments tab.

You cannot find the attachment you added to the bank statement earlier.


This is the expected system behaviour.

You can add a file to a Bank Statement only while creating a Bank Statement. Once the Bank Statement is posted or cancelled, this option is not available.

Eventhough you see the option to add a file to the bank statement after it is posted under the Attachments tab, there is no option to Save the attachment after this.


If you want to add a file to a Bank Statement, you need to do this while creating the Bank Statement.
