2508649 - It is not Allow to add a Functional Location as an Item in an Installed Base

Symptom

It is not allow to add a Functional Location as an item in an Installed base.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Installed Base work center.
  2. Go to the Installed Base view and seach for Installed Base ID ABC (where ABC is Installed Base Id with status Active/In Preparation).
  3. Open ABC and go to the Items facet .

On clicking Add Item, you can see the option to add Functional Location is not available.

Cause

We only allow to add Installed Base Item as type :Text , Product and Registered Product .

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.
