2508695 - Customer exit variable read is not processed as expected

Symptom

  • In transaction RSPLAN you get the message "No value could be determined for variable X " (BRAIN 632)
In a planning sequence you have e.g. a customer exit variable X used in the filter and an input ready characteristic value variable Y used in the planning function code only.
When executing the planning sequence you expect the customer exit variable value X to be derived from the input ready variable Y, which fails.
The input ready variable value Y is missing in the variable container in RRS_VAR_VALUES_EXIT_AFTER, thus no value can be determined for the customer exit variables.

  • You are facing a problem when using a customer exit variable in own planning function types or FOX formulas, when this variable needs another variable's input.
The customer exit variable BADI implementation is called for the customer exit variables used in FOX formula. They should read the variable values which were derived from Filter variables, which fails. The filter values are not used for derivation of the customer exit variable.
