2508697 - Error Message in Tax Return Run For Italy

You perform a VAT Return Run for a company in Italy and receive the error message 'No summary layout defined for tax return type Declarazione IVA Annuale'.

Remark: a similar error message could be raised for other Italian tax return types, such as Bollo Doganale.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the VAT Return Runs subview.
3. Show all active Tax Return Runs and find ID XXX (XXX represents the VAT Return Run ID).
4. Navigate to the Application Log YYY (YYY represents the Application Log ID).
5. Navigate to the Results tab.
6. You see the error message 'No summary layout defined for tax return type Declarazione IVA Annuale'.

Tax Return Type - Declarazione IVA Annuale is not supported for country Italy.

You need to change the Tax Return Type, as follows:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview and search for activity Tax Returns for Goods and Services - Italy.
3. Open the activity Tax Returns for Goods and Services - Italy.
4. Select the Product Tax Return Italy.
5. Click Add Row and maintain respective Tax Return Type.

 The following Tax Return Types are supported for country Italy:

• 1 - Summary Register
• 4 - Input VAT Domestic Register
• 5 - Output VAT Domestic Register
• 6 - Input VAT EC Register
• 7 - Output VAT EC Register
• 11 - Input VAT Extra EC Register
• 12 - Output VAT Extra EC Register
• 13 - Withholding Tax Return
