2508861 - When clicking the "Add instructor" button, a page opens with all the search results. Is it possible to open the search screen by default, rather than the results?

• When clicking the "Add instructor" button on a schedule offering's Segment tab and clicking on "Edit segment", a page opens with all the search results
• Is it possible to change this behavior and have the search page open and not the results page?

The reason why the LMS is directing you to the Results page after the "Add instructor" button is clicked is because these one or both of these 2 parameters are set:

• Instructor search selector parameter "properties.PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage" is set to true
• The global search parameter "globalSearchContextProperties[PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled" is set to true

To achieve the desired behavior, please make sure both parameters below are set to false:

1. System Admin >> Configuration >> System Configuration >> SEARCH >> globalSearchContextProperties[PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage].enabled
   
   
2. System Admin >> Configuration >> Search Selectors >> Instructor >> properties.PickerSearchDefaultToResultPage
