2508882 - User Flagged as Development User

Symptom

  • Unable to perform any changes in Master Layout in Adaptation mode.
  • The Business User has changed to a development user.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into C4C with your user.
  2. Select Adapt menu from any screen.
  3. Open Edit Master Layout.
  4. Unable to perform any changes.

Cause

A Development User flag is set for a user in the below scenarios:

  • User logged into the SDK.
  • User created a Custom Object via Custom Object Builder.

Resolution

Removing the development flag cannot be performed by business users. Raise a case to Cloud Support requesting for the removal of the Development Flag for the User XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the user), and Support Team will remove the flag.
