2508962 - Address is Not Updated by Mass Data Maintenance

You want to update the main address of accounts and import the address vai Mass Data Maintenance function. However, you find the main address is not updated. Instead, system creates new address into the account master data.

1. Go to the Account Management work center.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Open certain account and go to Communication tab.

You find the main address is not updated and there is an additional address line which was added by the Mass Data Maintenance import. However, you actually want to udpate the main address insteand of adding new one.

You do not specify the Address UUID in the Mass Data Maintenance import file. Without Address UUID, system simply adds the specified addresses to the corresponding accounts, since system does not know which address should be updated.

This is the designed system behavior.
