Symptom

The New button is greyed out in the Sales Quotes facet of the Contact.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Contacts view.
  3. Open any Contact.
  4. Go to the Sales Quotes facet.

You can see the New button is greyed out.

Cause

The feature of creating a Sales Quote from a Contact is not yet supported. The New action should ideally be completely hidden, which seems only the case if you switch e.g. facets from Sales Quote to Opportunity and return to Sales Quote.

Resolution

Our Development Team have confirmed that this feature will be implemented as part of the 1802 upgrade.
