2510591 - Unable to Submit Attendance or Additional Hours on a Full‑Day Absence

Symptom

When attempting to record attendance/on-call on a day with an existing full‑day absence, the system prevents the entry and displays the following error message:
“A full‑day absence exists for the same period as the attendance on YYYY‑MM‑DD. You cannot create new time entries for YYYY‑MM‑DD when a full‑day absence already exists for this day.”
