Symptom
- Customer enabled the standard field " company " under employmentInfo portlet but the field is not appearing in the Add New Employee tool.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - All Versions
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Admin Center
- Search for Manage Business Configuration
- Select "employmentInfo" portlet
- Add the standard field " company ", enable the field and grant the permissions
- When selection option "Add New Employee" the field is not appearing
Cause
- This field is required when you have set up Concurrent Employments configuration and will appear only when adding a new Concurrent Employment under Take Action in the Employee´s profile.
Resolution
- If you need to display a field called "company" or "New Assignment Company" you will need to create a custom field and assign this label, currently this field is designed only for Concurrent Employment configuration.
