When opening a Web Dynpro app, the following error message is presented and the Web Dynpro app does not open:

500 SAP Internal Server Error
ERROR: The URL contains no complete domain specification ({IP address or server name} instead of {IP address or server name}.<domain>.<ext>). (termination: RABAX_STATE)
