2512562 - Hide Termination Reason from Employment Details portlet

Symptom

I would like to hide "Termination Reason" in Employment Details. So, I have turned off the permission of "jobInfo_event-reason" in Employee central effective dated Entities. But, Event reason is still shown on screen.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Termination

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as an HR/Admin.
  2. Go to Target employee = a terminated employee, and check his Employment details portlet.
  3. You will be able to see the reason he was terminated for.

Resolution

Termination event reason field is under employment details and it cannot be hidden.

You can either:

  • Hide the whole employment details portlet OR
  • Be able to see the termination date and event-reason if you have the Role based permission access to view (MSS/ESS) employment details.
