Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

SAP system cannot start. In <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\<instance>\work\stderr<n> following error message appears:

fopenU("\\SAPGLOBALHOST\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile\<STARTUP_PROFILE>","r"): No such file or directory

Or when you try to open the profile in Windows explorer, it cannot be accessed (example):

C:\Users\tswadm>dir \\tswhost\sapmnt\TSW\SYS\profile\TSW_DVEBMGS00_tswhost
