2512904 - Job Relationship Employee Name Change not Reflected

An employee listed as someone's Job Relationship has updated their name via Personal Information. On save the Name Change is not reflected in the Job Relationship portlet for the users Job Realtionships Reports.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to  User X, who is listed as a Job Relationship for a User Y
2. Change User X's Personal Information to reflect a current effective dated name change
3. Save Changes
4. The users Public Profile is updated with the new Name values
5. Navigate to the profile of the Job Relationship User Y
6. The name Change for User X is not reflected in the Job Realtionship of User Y

This is a functional Gap.

The logic currently used to populate the Name Value of a user listed as a Job Relationship, will not automatically display the current Name of the user listed. It will reflect the Name as of the data when the record was created. The name will not be updated until a new Record is inserted on Job Relationship profile on or after the effective date of the Users name change.

A possible workaround to this functional gap, the Mass Change tool can be used to insert a new record on or after the effective date of the Name change for all users, who have this employee listed as a Job Relationship.
