Symptom
Not able to export more than 20 users via Talent Search result.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development
Reproducing the Issue
- Proxy as the impacted user
- Go to Talent Search and perform the search
- Select more than 20 users and click on Export > gets error message as below:
Cause
The impacted user may not have Reporting permission.
Resolution
If you select more than 20 users for export then a job is scheduled for exporting data of search results and it is triggered automatically on exporting more than 20 search results. User performing the Talent Search or exporting the search result must have access to Reporting tab so that he can access Scheduled Jobs via Reporting.
Follow below steps to grant the required permission:
- Go to the required role of the user via Manage Permission Roles and check the Reporting section:
- You can enable any reporting related permission like List View to enable Reporting tab.
- User can export more than 20 users after getting access to Reporting/Analytics tab
Note: The maximum number of columns which could be exported at one time was 256, this has now been increased to a limit of 16,384 columns in the b2305 release. If the data you want to export exceeds the limit of 16,384 columns, the excess part, together with other data that is part of the same search criterion, will not be exported.
