2514664 - Hide Nominate button in Talent Search v2

Talent Search v2: Nominate button shows in search result even though the user performing the search doesn't have the permission to nominate i.e. doesn't have Succession Planning permission

1: Login or proxy as a user who doesn't have Succession Planning Permission

2: Perform Talent Search, you would see Nominate button and while doing the nomination, you would get error as below:

     

Currently, Talent Search v2 shows Nominate button for all users performing the Talent Search that means Nominate button is always present on Talent Search v2 even if user doesn't have Succession Planning Permission. However as the user doesn't have nominate or Succession Planning Permission so he won't be able to do the nomination i.e. would get error while doing the nomination.

There is already an open enhancement for the same (SCM-10931) and I would suggest clients to create an enhancement for the same on community portal because the more votes an idea receives from Community, the more chances it has to be considered to become an enhancement sooner. Please check KBA-2344294  on 'How to submit enhancement' on community portal.
