What is contained in this field and how is is populated?

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to LMS Admin
  2. Navigate to Learning > Items
  3. Open an Item record
  4. Click "View All"

  5. Note there is a "Reviser" box under "Design" section

The field can also be found in Learning Reports:

  • The Item Summary Data Audit report has a column for "Reviser"
  • Running a report against the Item tables (PA_CPNT or PH_CPNT) shows a REVISER field


This field is meant to contain the name of the person who most recently revised the learning item


This field is a free text field that is manually populated:

  • In the Item Record, double click in the Reviser box to add in text
    • Reviser.png
  • Or use the Item Connector to populate the field


  • The field is not automatically populated when a user Revises an Item
  • The Last Updated User recorded at the time the Item was revised is the user captured when the Item is revised
  • This information is for administrative purposes only and cannot be viewed in the user interface

How to add the Reviser field to Items:

  1. Login to LMS Admin
  2. Navigate to System Admin > Configuration > Record Configuration
  3. Select "Item" from the drop down
  4. Find "Reviser" from the Available column
  5. Click "Add ->" to move it over
  6. Reviser will now appear on the Item Record under View All > Design
