2515121 - Learning notification survey direct link URL encoding

When a survey notification is sent, the direct link URL is not shortened to what is displayed in the syntax Title field, and instead, displays the full direct link

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Manage Email > Email Notification Templates >
2. Search and open in the edit mode the survey templates (FollowupEvaluationAssignmentNotification or ItemEvaluationAssignmentNotification) > Messages tab > Launch editor >
3. At the Tokens list, search for 'Survey Direct Link' and include it to the template >
4. Click on the 'Survey Direct Link' tag just added to the template > click on the 'Insert/Edit link' icon to include a Title > Save >
5. Trigger the notification to the users >
6. Notice that the full URL is displayed in the notification received by the users.

As the "Survey Direct Link" is a Sintax tag, it cannot be edited as an encoding field to create an hyperlink. It will instead, display the Direct Link of the correspondent survey sent in the notification.

The Survey Direct Link cannot be edited at the global notification templates, such as FollowupEvaluationAssignmentNotification or ItemEvaluationAssignmentNotification.

However, in case you would like to turn the URL into a shortened hyperlink for visual purposed, you can edit the templates individually at each survey level (at Learning Administration > System Administration > System Management Tools > Generate Direct Links > Type: Launch Survey.)

Then use this link in the template editor with the 'Insert/edit link' button which includes a "Text to display" field that will encode the URL.
